The fourth generation computer was built in 1975. Engineers learned how to build more complex circuits onto one chip. One chip could hold up to 5,000 transistors which is more than enough to process a computer. Down the road the Intel corporation engineers had a task to make a circuit powerful enough to run a watch, later on that chip they had made it went inside of a computer. The smaller the chip was the less expensive it was at the end. For example, if one big chip can hold up to 3,000 transistors which was more expensive, or, have a small chip that holds that holds 5,000 transistors which is less expensive and doesn't use more resources. Besides from that there were two entrepreneurs named Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. These two entrepreneurs wanted to build there own computer. Which down the line was called Apple I. The company itself was published in April of 1977, which than led to Apple II. Apple II was very successful they started with keyboards, monitors, floppy disks, drives and operating systems. Apple II later started doing very well and made millions which through other millionaires out of jobs. It's fascinating how two people just wanted to make a company and start building computer which in fact is one of the biggest company's now.
